About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our consultancy team, specializing in site construction supervision of building projects. The role involves ensuring that all structural works on-site comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and international codes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong consultant-side supervision experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor structural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and design intent.

• Review and approve contractor submissions (shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, RFIs).

• Identify and resolve technical and structural issues during construction.

• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and MEP engineers to resolve site-related challenges.

• Ensure adherence to project schedule, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Report project progress, issues, and risks to the Project Manager/Resident Engineer.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to site engineers/inspectors by conducting regular site inspections and quality checks for concrete, steel, foundations, and structural elements.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in site supervision on the consultant side.

• Solid background in building projects (residential, commercial, and high-rise preferred).

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site practices, and quality control.

• Familiarity with international and UAE codes and standards.

• Ability to review and approve structural drawings and shop drawings.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
